Hi Nick, I’m quite confident about this ID. This species has a very characteristic wing shape and markings. According to Moths of Victoria, the peak flight time for this species is April, which matches the time of your sighting. We’ve seen it in May down near the Victorian border. An attractive moth! It was a good idea to take the opportunity of getting shots of both under and upperwings.
