Hi Aaron thank you for sending me these orchid pics. You may however, be more experienced with orchids than I. Trust expert Orchid moderators will come on board! At first glance all your ID's appear to be on target. I am happy with Corybas aconitiflorus. Caladenia catenata looks OK, but I will compare to C. picta and check further with this species. I will need more time to confirm the others. Nick

Thanks Nick, I'm just an amateur, but I'm worried that the P. nutans is wrong, it could be P. pedunculata or any other number of species with similar leaves. But P. nutans was just a guess. I was reasonably sure of the Corybas, but not very sure about the C. catenata as well. Thanks for your help! Cheers Aaron.

Without recourse to a range of real material, measurements etc it becomes difficult. My orchid experience is more limited than with some other plant groups, which explains my hesitance in confirming your examples. In terms of 'moderator labelling' I would have preferred to be considered as a coastal heath and wetland ecologist with vicarious and very general botanical experience - the term 'expert' is misleading. The crenate leaf margin is distinctive for P. nutans and so you may be on the right track there. I have not given up and continue to investigate and will eventually get back to you. I have photos of a few other local Pterostylis and Caladenia to look at yet. Cheers Nick

Maybe in this year the P.nutans were late flowering? Though these leaves are a bit short.... maybe a Blunt tongue about to flower? (Dipodium obtusum)
