Hi Aaron, I am not sure about this being Pterostylis baptistii even though i am not familiar with the species. From the photo it keys out OK, but can't see if the rosette leaves are petiolate and wavy? Assuming the flower is 5-6cm many other Pterostylis are ruled out, but no brown in the apex of the galea. I am guessing P. furcata/falcata but the distribution (few records) and 'wet situations' might rule this out.
Hi Nick, that's a good question. I should have gotten a better shot of the rosette leaves and I honestly can't remember, but I don't think they were as wavy as P. nutans. These were also very fresh/new flowers that had yet to be properly opened. Thanks for your efforts. Cheers Aaron.
I think P. baptisti can be ruled out as it's a Spring blooming plant. If the date is correct, it must be one of the Diplodium (Pterostylis) Autum/Winter orchids, possibly D.obtusum. But more picture details required to confirm.
