User's notes

This microbat was flushed out from behind a window facia whilst cleaning weatherboards with a hose, hence the wet fur and startled look.

I'm pretty confident this is a Long-eared Bat (Lesser or Gould's, I can't tell), with its ears folded back. The amount of bare skin up behind the eye and the rather piggy snout strongly suggests that. They come into buildings a lot too. We have regular visits from one or two hunting down insects in our house on summer nights (no flyscreens).
