Is this sighting 4175134? If yes, the e-mail I rec'd confirmed it a a brown Huntsman. It's such a different look from the usual Huntsman spider in my house.

Online, I found a picture of Neosparassus, referred to as a Badge Huntsman. Looks a lot like this one I photographed in my garden.

I'd have to defer to KIm on the ID. I only confirmed it because he had said what it was, but failed to confirm it. The sighting number is 314, not 134 - slip of the finger? I can only find one other Isopeda (Brown Huntsman) sighting on ALCW, which looks similar to yours, but not identical. I've had a couple of things identified as Neosparrasus sp. and they don't look the same as this - longer legs, pointier abdomen.
