Great shots, Jackie! You’ve managed to capture the female ovipositing. The citrus leaves in your photos (are they lemon or lime trees?) are some of the favourite food plants of the larvae of this butterfly species. But they have also been reported to feed on native plants in the same family (Rutaceae) as the lemon tree, such as the Sandfly Zieria (https://atlasoflife.naturemapr.org/Community/Species/Sightings/19286)

It was landed on a cumquat but next to a lemon and lime.

That’s interesting, Loki! Cumquats are Rutaceae as well, so that fits.
