Yes Steph, that's an Asian Paper Wasp ... unfortunately. Have you seen a nest anywhere nearby? Take care, as they can sting if threatened.

No nest found as yet but it would be good to know what action to take if a nest is found.
They appeared docile today as I moved the pieces of wood but I will certainly take care!
