I suspect you have a species of Jackelixia possibly J. angustata. Great looking lichen.

Thanks Pam,
I meant to ask you how you have time to do this Nature Map monitoring as well as all the motivational talks and your job!

I've basically retired! Just voluntary stuff now so I can pace it a bit. Though we do spell horses on our place, so rugging/unrugging, feeds twice a day, making sure their water is good and just general paddock/farm maintenance keeps me fit and disciplined! Though I must admit at times things get away from me and slip through the cracks! So humble apologies if I haven't got back to you re a sighting. Just remind me please. NatureMapr, the book I'm working on on 'boletes', interacting with interested enthusiastic people with workshops etc. I thoroughly enjoy and it motivates me and all the other fungal stuff is something I enjoy as well and I'm constantly learning. I must admit I crashed a bit on Friday after the two workshops and over 800 km driving in three days so just took it a little more slowly than usual for the day! I think my problem is that I'm hyperactive maybe...........
