Cortinarius would have rust coloured, or tones thereof, in it's gills (lamellae) and a web-like cortina on the stem (stipe). You have an interesting species here, thought it's not a Cortinarius. What do you think Teresa?

Certainly NOT a Cortinarius sp. I believe it could belong in the Hygrophoraceae group but I am not certain
