It is a fish louse - Isopod, Suborder Flabellifera but that is as close as I can get.

Thanks Jenny. I've just checked the Australian Faunal Directory, and Flabellifera has been split up. The free-living ones (non-parasitic) are in Sphaeromatidea. This one the Scouts found was living the sand of a rockpool, so not parasitic.
