Is this the same spider as in your sighting https://atlasoflife.naturemapr.org/Community/Sightings/Details/4241319?

If so, you should add this image to that sighting and delete this sighting. The spider can’t be readily identified from this image.

ok, sorry Paul. Just thought it might be of interest how it was when found. I will delete this right now. Thanks

No problems Fiona. But certainly add this image to your previous sighting (click on the edit icon in the top RHS corner of that sighting). It is definitely of interest as it shows the relationship between the web and the carrot clearly.

Hi Fiona, Just tidying up the unidentified sightings a bit. You need to add this photo to your funnelweb sighting (which I didn't see) if you haven't already done so. Must have been an interesting moment when you saw what was attached to your carrot!

Thanks Jackie. I removed it as I had entered it as a sighting. Was going to add it to the other photo but haven't got around to it yet. As for finding funnelwebs on my carrots, rather shocking really especially as it wasn't an isolated event. We seem to have an over abundance of the scary things.
