The most common local frog, responsible for the persistent calling which sounds like a thumbnail being rubbed back and forth on a comb, when done en masse. Often lays eggs in temporary water like roadside drains (not a good policy round here, since the climate is seldom wet enough to keep them full till the tadpoles can develop fully).
