This was growing at the end of a relatively freshly fallen branch of a large Small Leafed Fig tree

I suspect this is a Pleurotus sp. becuase of the fan-like form, colour and being attached to wood. Can you confirm that the fertile surface was comprised of gills. It looks like very dried up ones from the second image. If this is the case this genus should have white spores.
