User's notes

I am not confident about the classification (yet excitedly optimistic). Please advise. I can try to get better photos if it will help.

Thanks Plants for the confirmation- I’m very glad to have finally found one :)

A am having second thoughts here. While the leaves appear to be either Dendrocnide or Gmelina, the lack of stinging hairs appear to favour the latter. There is nothing that beats seeking the plants live.

@Plants - thanks again - yes, I am still a little uncertain. I plan on visiting the known Gmelina at Minamurra rainforest tomorrow, before returning to take another look.
I would like to see the trunk of a known example to help to decide.

Having confirmed with @Plants - this is indeed sadly just a non-stinging Stinging Tree.
