These leaves are more crenulate than I am used to seeing with this species. Nice to see if it has pastel flowers?

I thinking Pandorea pandorana growing from rootstock.
I have seen a few plants like this in the burnt country with an obvious vine habit.

Unlikely, I don't think we have any P pandorana on the site. we have wombat berry (which has emerged strongly), garden Jasmine as weed, asparagus fern, kennedia, and a hibbertia, which hasn't reappeared yet. This plant looks like it to going to be shrubby. Will take more pics as it gets bigger.

How about Cyanthillium cinereum. Compare to: Daisy Cyanthillium cinereum on 10 Mar 2020

I don not think so. Leaves in that weed species are hairy and alternate, not opposite.

Yes, that was a bad choice. i think you are correct 'plants'. I should know to defer to you with weeds.

Nicholas you id'd another sighting of ours as cyanthilium and it didn't have such crenulate leaves
   12 Mar 2020
Yes that one was correct. This second one was an example of a senior moment.

It would be good to see a photo of the flower Lyndal. I must have suggested Pseuderanthemum variabile, Pastel Flower in the first instance, before I lost faith? If you copy that name into 'search', there are a few shown. Thanks for the feedback!
