User's notes

The Monitor was sunning itself in a large dead eucalyptus with has been used by other Monitors (this one appears to have different facial markings to others we have observed and recorded on the block). Today had added interest in that the Hobby which has been frequenting the block was perching in the same tree. I was able to get into a position where both creatures were visible, as per the second photo - the Lacey is at left centre and the Hobby is towards the top right corner and more distant. I have made a separate posting of the Hobby and cross-referenced via the description notes.
