At least four Chequered Sedge-skippers were attracted to a flowering Buddleia shrub (Butterfly Bush) in a garden at Dr George Mountain. These two skippers were photographed on two different days, 27 Feb (first two images) and 28 Feb (third image, wings closed).
Max, thanks for the confirmation. Looking through all my images of the Chequered Sedge-Skippers taken at Doctor George, I have at least three different individuals. There must have been a small cluster of this rare species there at the time.
