Hi Joy, A lot of Solanum species pop up after fire or other disturbance. S. pungetium and prinophyllum are hard to tell apart but I have gone with pungetium because the leaves look dull with short hairs on the upper surface, not glossy. Both have the prickles on all parts. A common local native, and particularly so at the moment!
