User's notes

Could I have some help with this? It has some very small blue berries on it which made me think it was a Blueberry Ash. The rosellas love it and a brown pigeon was tucking away at it yesterday. I'm told it is a native and I will need to control its spread! It's shot up out of nowhere.

Yep, native, and no need whatever for control, unless you have young kids who might eat the berries. This plant has been implicated in livestock poisoning, but as you say the birds love the fruits, and spread the seed, so it does tend to pop up all over. It needs moist soil so plants that come up in dry areas tend not to survive. Typical habitat is gullies.

Thank you so much Jackie. I may need to control it's height and size but this is really exciting

Just one more question - I looked up native peach and it said red berries. And none shown on the map on the east coast. Is this a variant?
