After turning the outside light off to allow about 20 swift moths to disperse into the wet night, I checked an hour later to make sure they were all gone. One moth did not make it as it had fallen prey to a House Centipede. This is the first time I have ever seen one of these creatures at Black Range.

Great shots Andrew! We often find this centipede in Wonboyn but I’ve never seen it taking prey.
