User's notes

Could be a brachyscome but can't find one here that looks like it. Growing in the garden, so could also be a ring-in.

Hi Steph, Yep. pretty definitely a ring-in and I'm getting a bad feel about it. Check out my sighting from Imlay Rd of ox-eye daisy: https://atlasoflife.naturemapr.org/sightings/3385914
The brown edge to the bracts and striate stem just below the flower head is very similar but not identical. I'm not confident enough to confirm it as that, but if I were you I'd be removing them to be on the safe side. Ox-eye is horrendously invasive. Have a look at my sighting of it on CNM if you want to see what it can do: https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/3389187. And I could have posted some much worse photos than that one, of an almost entirely white landscape.

Jackie, how about feverfew (Tanacetum)? Saw a pic on Gardening Australia that reminded me of our plants. Still probably risky?
