Hi Liam, There don't appear to be any pics, horrible or otherwise, on this sighting. If you don't have any tangible evidence, then it would be good to include some comment about what the sighting was e.g "flushed from the heath in front of us and flew low before dropping back to the ground, small parrot with greenish back", then I'd have a better idea that you knew what you are talking about and would confirm it without a photo.

I’ve tried again but doesn’t seem to work, so I’ll provide a description as u suggested.

Heard calling in heath quite close to road, the bird flushed soon after calling a second time, flew about 100 meters, landing next to our car on the road, before dashing back into the heath. Small, vibrant green parrot, yellow belly with black barring/spots clearly visible. Soon after flushed a second time flying directly towards us, giving clear views of the small red strip on its forehead.

I think the pic worked this time, the bird in in the centre of the image, but I can’t upload the version with an arrow pointing to it

Yep, I can even see the bird in the photo, but the description seals the deal, photo not up to much, as you said. You were lucky to get such a good look. I only ever see them disappearing at great speed.
