The fringed lilies are a bit like the Patersonias; just the flower isn't good enough. This could be either T. juncifolius or T. tuberosus. The former is usually shorter (less than 10cm suggests it could be it), with smaller and fewer flowers per cluster. Holding a ruler up against the flower to show the diameter in one of the photos can be a help (not that I ever remember to take one with me, but even a finger tip can be handy as an indication of size).
