A small plant with red to pink flowers growing in grassland.

A weed. The common name, catchfly, is presumably because it is covered in sticky hairs. Can't say I have ever seen any insects caught on it, and it is not a carnivorous plant, but it is unpleasant to handle if you are trying to pull it out.
