The drooping foliage and mostly yellow flowers identify this as Muellerina eucalyptoides, not one of the other 2 common mistletoes in the area. Once you get away from all the banksia in the coastal strip, mistletoe is about all there is for honeyeaters when the eucalypts are not flowering. Fortunately between the 3 species we get here, it seems to flower for most of the year.
