HISTORICAL 2009 : I've always wanted to know what this insect was that appeared overnight on my parents sliding door on the outside. It took us ages to work out it was dead. It was so big - over a ruler long and scary looking.

Hi Kylie, for the moment I have suggested Unidentified stick insect, just so it placed in the correct category for a more accurate ID.
