User's notes

I saw one or two of these beauties around this time last year - in the late evening, but unable to capture on camera. Delighted to photograph one this evening - I've guessed the species, based on the species list?

Great sighting - especially for this far south.

I can find only one record of this species further south than yours. That was at Bingie in Dec 2020 (it's on iNaturalist, and thus replicated into ALA). Further north, the closest records are from Kioloa (1), then Berry (3) and Wollongong (3) before becoming more common from the Sydney area north.

Woops - I omitted a couple of records from Vincentia, as well...
