Photos showing the pith in the culms and showing the basal leaf sheaths would confirm which species this is (it is a native sp.). Shots of habitat also help with this difficult group
ty karen. location - dry eucalypt/she oak forest on hill. very little in understorey. this was on a patch of red orange clay much disturbed as its in the zone behind houses that is cleared annually for fire break.
