Apparently naturalised. I have now added a photo of the leaf bases. No hint of toothed and rough margins to the lower lamina. This speces occurs as far south as Sydney, and I think it is exapnding south, naturally and/or from planted specimens.
This could be Cordyline stricta but the pic seems to show narrower petioles than in that species. It would be good to later add a pic of the fruit (blackish in C. congesta, red in other spp. in NSW).
