People who post photos to this site are to be thanked and congratulated for their interest and enthusiasm. Where definitive identification becomes challenging is when the defining features of a species/genus/family are only shown in limited detail. In the case of this specimen the family is possibly Braconidae based on antennal and ovipositor general features, but I would not be confident going beyond that level of identification because the wing venation, head and thorax are not shown in sufficient detail.

Thank you! Joining and posting to Nature Map has been a fascinating and addictive learning experience. It's really helpful to know what to try and photograph - I usually try to get wing venation and the top of the head, but did not realise the thorax, along with the antennae and ovipositor, were also important diagnostics. Thank you again for your time and sharing of knowledge.
