Pterostylis melagramma (Black-stripe Greenhood)

A member of the Pt. longifolia complex with a small oblong labellum with long bristles confined to the basal quarter (Bishop, 2000). Widespread in Victoria and probably in adjacent parts of NSW. Favours sclerophyll forest and woodland with a heathy understorey on sandy soils (Bishop, 2000).
