Diachea leucopodia

Plasmodium:-  white opaque.

Sporangia:- gregarious, cylindrical, obtuse, 0.5 to 2 mm. tall  0.3 to 1 mm. broad, stalked,  iridescent blue, purple, sporangial wall membranous.

Stalk:- White, tapering upwards very brittle.

Columella: - cylindrical or narrowed upwards, reaching  nearly to the apex of the sporangium, white, with lime like the stalk.

Capillitium:- profusely branched  threads connecting the columella with the sporangial wall, dark violetbrown, colorless at the extremities.

Spores:-  dull voilet.
