Eucalyptus resinifera subsp. resinifera (Red Mahogany)

Grows in wet or dry sclerophyll forest north from the Jervis Bay area. Similar in general appearance to E. botryoides, robusta and scias, but distinguished by the long exsert valves on the fruit.
