Marsilea mutica (Nardoo)

The largest leaved of the 3 Nardoo species that have been recorded from the far south coast.  A semi-aquatic fern growing around pools or on drying mud.  The rhizome is more or less hairless in this species and the leaf segments have tow different shades of green separated by a narrow brown band.
