Large moth on power pole. IPhone with ruler scale included for size reference.

This is a Cossidae family moth. If you see "sawdust" coming out of borer holes in a wattle, often an old one with dead limbs, it's likely to be due to the borer caterpillars of this species. (There are other options, but this is the big common one).
