This certainly looks like an Endoxyla sp., David. But as there are a host of species in that genus, some of which look pretty similar, I wouldn’t be prepared to call it E. encalypti. I’d have to run this past our Canberra expert moth moderator Glenn Cocking. Cheers, Paul
I note that I have previously confirmed a couple of other Budawang sightings of this genus as a Endoxyla encalypti. But on reflection and consulting images of other species in that genus on ALA, that may have been rash. I’ll consult Glenn.
