Do you have a clearer image of the pores? The fibrous texture to the cap (pileus) is not usual for a boletoid fungus. The pileus of Phlebopus marginatus is different to that seen on your image. Good to see that you are finding such a good range of fungi at this time of the year.
Thanks for your comment Pam. I don't really have any good basis for my identifications. i can only use pictures in your book and the images already posted on the Atlas. I've made a guess at a few but please treat them as unidentified.I can send a mirror image of the pores but dont know how to do it on this site . I could attach the picture to an email if I had your address. Lyndall
