Thanks Max for your ID. I was using Braby’s field guide to Australian butterflies, and Imperial Hairstreak is the primary name for Jalmenus evagoras. Common Imperial Blue is the older, secondary name.

I've (somewhat reluctantly especially for birds) gotten used to renaming my files with the latin tag as well as the common name, before posting, as I find it faster to locate an alphabetical listing than scan a higgledy piggledy column.
