A tree frog because of the big finger and toe discs, and comparing it to our other sightings in ALCW, Litoria dentata is the best match. This one has a very loud high pitched keening call, like "mneeeeeee". Can call from up in trees as well as around water. Patchy distribution locally, and the distribution maps in most of the frog field guides don't show it being here at all.
Thanks Jackie, very interesting indeed. I log frog calls on the Australian Museum Frog ID app and they have confirmed in the past that I have captured the call of the Bleating Tree Frog.
