Rescued from inside electricity meter box.

It would probably dispute the "rescued" bit. We often see them using man-made objects as shelters. They seem to particularly like getting up drain pipes and into poly pipe - god knows how they bear the heat in the latter on a sunny day, but it does make a good resonator for increasing the volume of their call.

Yes we hear them too in pipes and the water tank, which indeed make good resonators!
