User's notes

Small wrinkly brown fan shaped fungi with, what looks like white spores at their base. Brown gills underside. These were very soft and silky to the touch, like soft leather.

Well noted re 'spore mass'. These specimens had dried up a bit from their original state. That white furry bit at the top of the point of attachment is something seen with a number of Credpidotus species. You are doing fantastic work of documenting so many of the different fungal species currently showing up in your area. Many thanks for your contribution.

I can sometimes get some work done before I go and feed and unrug the horses. The sun's a bit lazy at getting up at the moment. Though yes I'm usually up between 5.00 and 5.30 am which is crazy!
