User's notes

Beautiful small, delicate fungi looking like a parasol. Egg yellow on top, pure crisp white gills below. The cap was quite thin. The whole thing stood roughly 5 cms tall on a yellow stalk, and the cap was about 3-4 cms in diameter.

Great images. These are notoriously difficult to capture so well. The immature 'buttons' look like spikey rich yellow balls.

I was extremely surprised to find a stalk, and a quite a long one at that, given I didn't think it had any. It really looked like another rubbery solid one. I was amazed to see this perfect little umbrella.
