Smallish (a few centimetres long) blond with reddish brown markings on top and head and very furry/hairy discovered on walk at Tathra Headland

Looks like an Orgyia. Resembles O. australis as illustrated at http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/lyma/australis.html .
