This is a different plant to the one photographed and posted last year but is close by (last year's was decimated, presumably by Wallabies). It is interesting to note that the dates of last year's and this year's photos are only nine days apart. Both plants were found by chance.

Yep, this species seems to be very palatable. Masses of it came up after the 2018 fire in the Nat Park north and west of Numbugga, and many plants were completely hammered. Could have been wallabies or deer, as there was scat of the latter around.
