Gills. Even the largest still had intact veil but I opened one to see the gills. Tried to add photo but get 'invalid media' message.

Thanks for that - good images of a great looking fungus. Be interesting to see them as they become mature to see colour of spores and if they have an annulus.

Still intact. I was only an hour or so away when I got your comment. When I got closer Google Maps wanted me to walk to Hindmarsh Drive, drive (hitchhike?} down hill then walk again into the reserve. It wasn't until I got quite close it showed me properly. Sighting Gymnopilus junonius (Spectacular Rustgill) was on the fire trail nearby.
