Heterotrichia fasciculata

Sporocarps stalked. Spore mass in its fresh state is predominantly shades of yellow, olivaceous. Peridium rapidly evanescent, leaving the persistent cup at the base of sporocarps. Capillitium composed of network of elastic tubules, firmly or loosely attached to the cup and/or the apex of the stalk. Capillitium tubules ornamented with reticulum, half-rings, uneven spines or combinations thereof. Spores typically ornamented with minute warts with groups of larger warts.
