The as-yet un-named species Dichondra sp. A. sensu Harden, (1992), is a characteristic species of low-lying areas on the Monaro. It has hairy leaves, as opposed to the relatively hairless leaves of Dichondra repens. PlantNet has no records from the Monaro region. It doesn’t appear to be recognised by either AVH nor ALA, though there is a reference to this species, noting the densely pilose under-surfaces of its leaves in a Victorian site.
