Litoria tyleri (Tyler's Tree Frog)

Very similar to and co-occurring with Litoria peronii.  Has the cross in the pupil (indistinct) and green freckles on the upper surface of body and limbs as peronii does. Distinguished by call (similar "maniacal cackle" call but not descending as in peronii) and less strongly patterned back, golden iris, darker orange throat in breeding males (Ken Griffiths, Frogs and Reptiles of the Sydney Region).
