Convex cap, translucent-striate, slightly incurved when young, expanding with age and becomes wavy and pallid centre remaining tawny brown; flesh bruising blue readily.
Gills adnexed, close, thin, in tiers of two mottled gray at maturity.
Stem 85mm - 100mm long by 1.5 - 2mm thick, equal to bulbous base with thick mycelial mat attached; turns blue when handled. Entire fruit body is hygrophanous.
Psilocybe sp or Panaeolus cyanescens? I'm a little undecided with this one. Spore print very dark brown to black, yet to do microscopy. Seems to lack the cuticle of Psilocybe....... might have to get expert assistance with this one.
