User's notes

This is an old sighting which was sent to Melbourne in 2012 for identification and confirmed by Dr Tom May. It is added now to show the concentric zones of the dissected specimen. This specimen was found growing on dead Acacia in a dried out swampy area.

Thanks for putting that up Teresa. It's a lot paler in its external colour than my ones were, and I didn't think to cut into mine, but hopefully they are the same thing. If I ever see it again I will cut it, but I reckon I'd have needed a hacksaw or something to do it, as it was very hard.
